The assignments above are required. If you want extra practice for the test I’ve attached a few options. In no way does this mean that’s “ALL” that’s on the test or that everything on these sheets will be on the test.
PosPhy 15.6 1-3 and 15.8 1-2
More random problems. with solutions
The test this week will be divided into two parts. Typically, I require tests to be completed in one “sitting”. The two part test will allow for students to split up when they take the test.

Exam Review - This is your in-class assignment for the week. When I return, we will be having a test on Unit 8 (somewhere around May 5. CAN YOU BELIEVE I’M TALKING ABOUT MAY ALREADY????). In the meantime, I’ve put together various assignments that will help you prepare for our final exam. Yes, the exam is cumulative.
Below is an assortment of Positive Physics assignments aimed to help you practice some of the topics that will be covered on our final exam.
You need to be in “Extra Practice Mode” to see the problems. In this mode, you are not allowed to check your answers as you go.
This assignment will count as 2 homework grades and is also worth up to 5 bonus points on the final exam. To earn all 5 points, label and work ALL problems on paper. Each assignment should start at the top of a new page. At the top of the page, record which assignment you are working on. If a free body diagram is used, show that on your paper.
The due date on PosPhysics is May 2 at 11:59pm. No late work will be accepted.
Turn in your work by Monday, May 4.
PosPhysics: 10.7, 11.3, 12.17, 13.7, 13.14, 14.4, 14.7, 16.7, 30.16, 30.17, 30.18
PLEASE READ: The Physics Classroom assignments from April 7/8 (Unit 7) were intended as actual assignments. Many students misunderstood this and did not complete the assignment. Because of this apparent misunderstanding if you DID complete these assignments, this completion grade will take the place of another homework grade if this helps your overall grade.
ADDITIONALLY: As promised, I am going to drop your lowest quiz grade. I’m hoping to finish updating grades today (April 23.)
