An Introduction into Evolution

Congratulations on finishing your diversity of life lab! This week we will begin with preparing for your test at the end of the week, then introduce the theory of evolution. Some of this week will also be dedicated towards your paper.

BY THE END OF THIS WEEK, you should be able to:

  • define all terms from the previous weeks,

  • have your organisms chosen for your co-evolution paper, and

  • Understand the mechanisms of evolution.

Day 1: Test Prep

  1. We’ll spend the day going through example questions in preparation for your test on this week’s Day 3. Are you ready?

Day 2: Co-evolution Paper prep & study

  1. You will use today to identify the organisms you are going to write your paper on, and use the remainder of the time to study for your test on Day 3.

  2. AFTER CLASS, study!
