B/C Day
Intro to Evolution lecture
HW: 7.1-7.3 AP questions, Unit 7 DV notes
DUE: 7.1 and 7.9 DV notes
D/E Day
I’ll be absent for science fair/out of town!
1) Watch and take notes on DV 7.5
2) You now have two options (A and B) based on how comfortable you are with this content, ready to figure out some practice problems, and willingness to take a mini-quiz by the end of class today.
Option A) You could use some more explanation and don’t want to take a mini-quiz by the end of class.
1) Complete the Hardy-Weinberg Gizmo. Check answers after finishing the warm up, after finishing part A, and after finishing part B. The key is in the labeled folder on my office door. Turn in to the tray and you’ve earned full credit.
2) Work on “Hardy-Weinberg Practice Problems” worksheet. You can check your answers to #1-4 using the key in the labeled folder on my office door. Whatever you don’t finish is homework due next class!
3) You’ll take the mini-quiz some time next week.
Option B) You are ready to try and figure out practice problems and will take the quiz by the end of class.
1) Complete all of the “Hardy-Weinberg Practice Problems” worksheet. You can check your answers to #1-4 using the key in the labeled folder on my office door. Turn in to the tray and you’ve earned full credit, based on effort.
2) Complete the mini-quiz. It is in the labeled folder on my office door. Follow the Honor Code. No resources allowed, put everything away. You’ll turn this in to the labeled folder on my office door. Must be done by end of class, or no credit earned. Good luck!
